Delegate Hamrick moves to amend the bill on page 3, section 2a, line 50, following the period by inserting: “The clerk shall notify the person that he or she is 180 days past due, has not enrolled in a payment plan, has received a $10 late fee, and may have a judgment lien recorded against him or her and have his or her debt sent to collections if not resolved within 30 days.”;

            And,

On page 7, section 2b, line 43, following the period by inserting: “The clerk shall notify the person that he or she is 180 days past due, has not enrolled in a payment plan, has received a$10 late fee, and may have a judgment lien recorded against him or her and have his or her debt sent to collections if not resolved within 30 days.”;

 And,

On page 16, section 2a, line 52, following the period by inserting: “The clerk shall notify the person that he or she is 180 days past due, has not enrolled in a payment plan, has received a $10 late fee, and may have a judgment lien recorded against him or her and have his or her debt sent to collections if not resolved within 30 days.”;

And,

On page 24, section 17, line 66, following the period by inserting: “The clerk shall notify the person that he or she is 180 days past due, has not enrolled in a payment plan, has received a $10 late fee, and may have a judgment lien recorded against him or her and have his or her debt sent to collections if not resolved within 30 days.”;

And,

On page 3, section 2a, line 51, by striking out the word ”90”, and inserting the words “an additional 30”;

And,

On page 7, section 2b, line 44, by striking out the word ”90”, and inserting the words “an additional 30”;

And,

On page 16, section 2a, line 53, by striking out the word ”90”, and inserting the words “an additional 30”;

And,

On page 25, section 17, line 67, by striking out the word ”90”, and inserting the words “an additional 30”;

And,

On page 1, section 2a, line 3, following the words “a person.” by inserting the words “Any charges made by the credit company shall be paid by the person responsible for paying the cost, fine, fee, or penalty”.’

And,

On page 2, section 2a, line 10, following the words “of this code” by inserting after the comma: “or other applicable municipal ordinances.”;

And,

On page 5, section 2b, line 4, following the words “of this code” by inserting after the comma: “or other applicable municipal ordinances.”.
